James Monroe Scurlock represents both Plaintiffs and Defendants in mediations, arbitrations, and litigation across numerous areas of law. His practice includes contract law, insurance law, construction law, real estate law, civil rights and employment law, health law, veteran and military discrimination law, state civil rights violations, and tort law. James is admitted to practice in Arkansas and Tennessee with his Texas state bar licensure currently pending. Further, he is admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas as well as all of the federal courts of Arkansas and Tennessee. His admission to the federal courts of the Northern District of Texas is currently pending. James is a member of several bar associations and is a Past President of the Judge William R. Overton Inns of Court in Little Rock, Arkansas. James is happily engaged and currently lives in both Austin and Little Rock. He grew up north of Nacogdoches, Texas, where his mother and much of his family still live.
